on Wednesday me and jack made a scoot run splash a thon here is the reflection from te kakano

From Te Kakano:

“It was challenging on the scootering”

Asher Malone “I didn’t like the pool because I was too short”

Mrs Rogers said next time can you make one for adults.

Kairangi “I liked the scootering”

Lily “I thought the run was too long”

Trish suggested “you could make an obstacle course out on the field”

Callum “I liked that we chose the little kids to just do it to keep it smaller and make them fit.  We planned it and it worked out good.  Planning is important.  It was hard running around after all the kids like a lunatic”

Jack “If we didn’t spend as much time planning it, it would have turned out worse.  Putting the cones down and having the TÅ«hono cours e marshals helped them know where to go.  The best part was that they were all happy and participating and having fun.  For next time, we would love to have an obstacle course.”

my carnival craft

For My carnival craft  I made a tote bag that said Callum. I had  amazing fun planning and crafting my tote bag. I put my passion and my heart  in to craft the tote bag. My highlight of crafting the tote bag was that I got to do sewing. The colour of the writing on the bag was red . I chose red because it has an amazing stand out colour.

MILLIPEDES MILLIPEDES

MILLIPEDES MILLIPEDES!

Be careful because millipedes are highly venomous.

Habitat
Millipedes live under a rock or a damp log. They live in the bush and gardens in New Zealand.

Diet
The Millipede diet is small insects and the big millipedes eat snails and worms. If they can't find food they will scavenge and eat compost.

Protection
Millipedes protect themselves by using their exoskeleton. Another way they
protect themselves is by crawling into a ball.

Adaptations
They have developed a hard shell (exoskeleton) for survival. It helps them survive because it makes them hard to eat. It is like metal armour.
